Illustrated workflow
Put the checked revision in the issue pack.
Follow a drawing from its revision record through review, authorisation and the transmittal record.
Illustrated engineering workflows, with current product capabilities and the decisions for your people shown on each page.
The example
A revised drawing is ready for issue. This example keeps the selected revision and the intended recipients together for the authoriser.

The illustrated steps
Identify the drawing
Check the job, drawing number and supplied revision against the document.
Update the register
Keep the revision in the drawing register with its issue information.
Check the content
The responsible engineer checks the drawing and resolves the review comments.
Approve the issue
The authoriser reviews the exact drawing revision and recipient list.
Prepare the transmittal record
Keep the approved issue and transmittal number together.
Keep recipient evidence
Record who received the issued drawings through the authorised issue process.
What is built, and where it stops
The engineer still checks the revision and the authoriser approves the issue. This illustration does not promise automatic title-block checking or drawing delivery.
